Since 1997, I have been building solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV (formerly Navision) that match the original product philosophy as closely as possible: "complex challenges, simple solutions".

In recent years, my focus has shifted from the what of C/SIDE application development to the how: setting up a development infrastructure that not only results in a demonstrable higher quality of the product delivered, but also eliminates a lot of "red tape" to make sure developers need worry about little less than feature development. This includes e.g. source code control, automated database builds, automated testing en standardized, generated demo data. For the future beyond that, I like to think about a more abstract, model-based way of developing C/SIDE applications.
